Institute of Organic Training and Advice

The Institute of Organic Training and Advice (IOTA) accredits organic trainers and advisers in the United Kingdom and Ireland to demonstrate their organic competence, and supports advisers and trainers with professional development training, information, conferences and advisory tools. The Organic Research Centre is a founding partner and, from April 2012, IOTA has merged with ORC while retaining a separate outward-facing identity. This reflects a decision by ORC to support all organic advisers working in the UK and Ireland with research and information dissemination. As a result ORC has ceased to operate the Organic Advisory Service, which used to provide a one-to-one service to producers.

While a new section of the ORC website is under development, full details of IOTA and its activities can be found at www.organicadvice.org.uk, including a list of accredited advisers and trainers.
