Elaine Leavy (Ireland)

I am a graduate from University College Dublin with a Bachelor of Agriculture Science specialising in animal and crop production. I have worked as a farm adviser with Teagasc, the national agricultural advisory, training and research provider in Ireland, for ten years. Since 2007, I have specialised in organic advisory work mainly with drystock farmers providing advice and training. In 2009 I was awarded a MSc. (Organic Farming) completed through SAC Aberdeen. I come from a farming background and am still actively involved in the day to day running of my home farm, currently undergoing organic conversion and specialising in beef, cereal and pig production.
